Southport College’s Performing Arts course has a long history of producing very high standard summer productions and this year has been no exception. Drama students performed ‘Glengarry Glen Ross’ to high acclaim and last week ‘Cats’ amazed sell-out audiences over three nights.
Both were presented in their purpose built, state-of-the-art performing arts facility, with studios for dance, drama and music as well as a fully-equipped theatre and workshop facilities.
Performing Arts Curriculum Leader Pete Scholes said “We were fortunate enough to work with a very talented group of students this year. The feedback and plaudits they received from the audiences was absolutely glowing. As usual, some of this year’s course leavers are aiming for places at prestigious London schools to follow the many students who have already entered such institutions as RADA, Guildford and Mountview after completing our courses.”
There are a small number of places remaining on the Performing Arts courses at Southport College this September. If you would like to join this year’s applicants visit www.southport.ac.uk email guidance@southport.ac.uk or call 01704 392704 for further details
