Pedestrians are being warned to stay safe after high winds dislodged dangerous loose slates around Lord Street.
The stormy weather has caused chaos in the town after three different storms hit the resort over the last month
And the bad weather is taking its toll heaviest on older buildings with roofing firms saying they are inundated with calls to fix loose skates and leaking roofs.
Pedestrians are being told to take extra care especially in the Post Office Avenue area after slates slammed over 40ft into the ground narrowly missing people walking to and from work.
