A builder has man’s best friend to thank after a police dog recovered a hoard of stolen tools in Southport.
Police Dog Jango, solving one of his first cases since joining the force, has set tails wagging among his two legged colleagues after successfully tracking down a collection of tools which had been stolen from a building site in Southport on Sunday evening (June 20th)
A spokesperson for Merseyside Police Dog Handling Unit said “PD Jango is off and running! Earlier tonight a male stole a number of tools from a building site in Southport before making off along a railway line.
“PD Jango attended and commenced searching the railway line before locating all of the stolen goods hidden away in thick brambles”
