Stinger stops stolen car from Southport on Tarleton Bypass

A vehicle that was stolen in Southport and being pursued by Merseyside Police and the national Police Air Service Helicopter was driven into Lancashire where it was successfully brought to a stop on the Tarleton Bypass after being stung by Lancashire police who had taken over the pursuit.

The driver of the stolen car was arrested at the scene.
