Stanley High School welcomed their Year 11 students back to school to safely collect their GCSE results today. After a turbulent few months, students were rewarded for their hard work and determination over their 5 years at Stanley High School.
Neil Moore, Headteacher, commented “It has been a very difficult time for everyone, especially for our Year 11 students who have been faced with uncertainty following school closures in March.
“I was delighted we could welcome back students to collect their examination results in a safe environment and allow them to celebrate with our senior staff. Their results reflect the aspiration, resilience and conscientiousness our students have demonstrated each day during their time at Stanley High School.
“We wish them all the very best for the next stages of their education and I am incredibly proud of the young people leaving us who can excel and succeed in their chosen careers.
