St Cuthbert’s Pre-Scool Gains Quality Award.
St Cuthbert’s Pre-school in Churchtown has been awarded the Early Years Quality Mark after a recent assessment. This is a nationally recognised award which celebrates good provision, practice, progress and performance in Early Years education. The report praises the passion of the leadership and the staff, which includes a qualified Early Years Teacher, who are highly skilled and experienced at bringing out the best in each child in their care.
The Pre-school has been providing a high-quality service to families in the Churchtown area for over 40 years and is an Ofsted registered non-profit making charity. It’s home in St Cuthbert’s Church Hall is currently undergoing refurbishment, a project which includes significant redecoration making a bright and engaging learning environment and the creation of a large outside garden where the children can play outdoors.
Margaret Wignall, Pre-school Manager, said ‘We are delighted to have achieved this award which recognises our dedication and commitment to providing a fun and educational environment for 2-4 year olds. We pride ourselves on offering a warm and welcoming ethos, and have built a strong reputation as a high-quality nursery with families in the local community. We look forward to continuing to improve our provision in an enhanced learning environment.’
St Cuthbert’s Pre-school is holding an Open Day on Friday 7th July 2017 from 1.00 – 3.00 pm when prospective families are invited to come along, chat to the staff and see the wide variety of activities on offer for children.
