Sporty sandgrounders flock to town after business lockdown lifts

A mammoth queue has formed outside a sports retailer in Southport after it finally reopened its doors today.

Sports Direct reopened its doors to the Tulketh Street store following an ease in business lockdown rules and offered a 50% discount to NHS staff on their reopening day.

A huge queue immediately formed outside the store as it reopened earlier today reaching as far back as the Mazda dealership.

Any NHS staff looking to take advantage of the offer must have a valid NHS pass with them.
