Speed checks after serious RTC involving young cyclist

Police speed trappers are waiting to catch tearaway drivers on Preston New road tonight.

Speed checks are in force near to the BP garage on Preston New Road.

A second hidden police car is lying in wait further up the road waiting to catch any speeding motorist.

The speed cameras are thought to be a direct result of a serious collision which happened on the road last night which resulted in the injury of a young boy.
