Spectators flee for their lives as wind blows fireworks into danger
High winds left fireworks watchers running for their lives after pyros rained down on them last night.
Organisers were forced to end the last half of the British Musical Fireworks Championships in Victoria Park after spectators were showered in sparks and firework ash.
One video shows the wind blowing down a firework within inches of terrified onlookers.
One person described it as like a scene from a war film and said that they were lucky to escape with their lives
