Special Constable Recruitment – Southport
Special Constables are volunteer Police Officers, who come from all walks of life. They work alongside our regular officers in the local neighbourhood policing teams and play a vital role in supporting the work of the police and the community. After initial training, Special Constables will wear the same uniform and hold the same powers as a our regular officers. Joining the Specials can give you the chance to make a real difference to your community, and enhance your skills. However, this is a demanding role and we ask that you give up 16 hours of your spare time each month.
