OTSnews had the opportunity to catch up with Eighty Eight’s manager Emma Brown this week and discussed the exciting changes that lie ahead in 2015, Emma said:
“After a very busy opening year we have decided to make some changes to Eighty Eight. The first change being that we are closing the restaurant temporarily. We are stepping away from fine dining on the first floor and moving towards a more relaxed approach, taking the winning recipe we have created in the bar, onwards and upwards to the first floor. The plans for which are already in motion… creating one premier venue instead of the current two, to include our courtyard and unique balcony experience.”
“During this change, business will carry on as normal in the bar and we will still be serving great food to great people, along with our amazing 2-4-1 cocktails and making sure we are ‘the number one venue’ in Southport.”
“We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their support over the past year and look forward to sharing an even greater 2015 with you all!”
The Cheese & Wine evening next week has now sold out (Thursday 29 January).
