Southport’s late night shopping will continue

The third late-night Christmas shopping will take place on Thursday, December 15 December.

Southport’s late night Christmas shopping kicked off  a couple of weeks ago.

Shops along Wesley Street, Chapel Street and the surrounding area will open until 8pm Thursday December 15.

The majority of residents have criticised that the shops on Lord Street haven’t been open late for shopping.

However, Southport BID says the initial idea came from managers at shops on Chapel Street and Wesley Street involved in the Healthy High Street scheme. The scheme was set up in 2014 to engage large businesses in their local communities.

Head to Chapel Street, Wesley Street for high street and independent shops, visit Art House & The Creative Studio for stunning one of a kind gifts on Eastbank Road or The Atkinson for treats in The Bakery and their brilliant exhibition. Parking is FREE from 3pm!
