Southport-based waste management specialist, Inciner8, has been crowned the North West’s best exporter for 2019.

The Insider Made in the North West Awards saw manufacturers come together to celebrate the region’s best. Inciner8 picked up the award for Exporter of the Year following a record-breaking 12 months, which saw the world-renowned manufacturer exceed individual sales to 172 countries.

Originating in the UK farming industry, the supplier of clean air incinerators has seen strong international growth year-on-year, with 85% of its business now taking place within overseas markets.

Inciner8 is one of the most respected names in global waste management solutions and boasts a diverse portfolio of clients, including the United Nations, World Health Organisation, MSF, Red Cross and the British Foreign Office

Vince Ferguson OBE, founder & chairman of Inciner8, said: “It’s a real honour to add Exporter of the Year to our list of award wins and to be recognised for our exporting successes.

“Awards like this showcase innovative British-born manufacturing and celebrate those who achieve significant achievements, especially on a global scale, through a continued focus on research and development and industry excellence.

“This award is down to the hard work and dedication of our entire Southport-based team and we’re looking forward to joining all the regional winners in June and are keeping our fingers crossed for the national title.”

Winners of the Made in the UK Awards will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday 20th June.
