Southport’s Herald Juniors local football success.
Herald Juniors only started in November and just like the adults they’re starting to dominate young amateur regional football.
Jay Hawkes told OTS News “The success we have achieved has not come as a shock with the quality they possess.
“We just didn’t expect it so soon. The Blues have had a super season winning everything they could possibly win.”
“The reds also winning the shield after only a few months a settled team. 2 cups and a league between the 2 teams.”
“The Blues going on to win the league by a massive margin, only conceding 4 goals all season.”
“These kids have a lot to look forward to with the club set to expand in to different age groups. It’s been a tough but most enjoyable 6 weeks.”
“Thank you to all our sponsors for helping us achieve this without any of you it wouldn’t be possible. R.D Wright window cleaners R.D Wright property Services Fylde Road Fish Bar Thomas Howie Kitchens Churchtown Barbers o2 and Hale electricals.
“We go again next season with much more drive and ambition to achieve much more.”
