Southport Trinity beat Litherland REMYCA 3-0 to secure the Joseph Jackson Cup for the Southport Trinity Under 12s this weekend.
After storming past their Litherland neighbours, Southport Trinity Under 12s were handed the Craven Minor League hosted trophy in front of dozens of delighted parents
Trinity dominated both halves of the final which was held at Victoria Park Burscough on Sunday.
Omah Desouky and player of the match Felix Rodwell both netted in the first half and a second from Desouky on fifty minutes made it a comfortable victory for the inform Trinity team.
Manager Jimmy Kelly said: “I’m delighted for all the team, it was a great team performance, we stuck to our game plan and dominated in all areas.
“After last years final being cancelled due to Covid it feels twice as good”.
