Southport BID will work alongside Visit Southport and the Southport Restaurateurs Association to promote the themed event from 16th – 24th February
The themed week aims to address the slowdown in dining out after Christmas and to boost sales ahead of the new season. The event aims to raise the profiles of Southport cafes and restaurants and introduce new customers to venues in the aim of making them regular.
Restaurants, cafes and diners based in the BID area are being invited to get involved by:
- Offering a lunch deal
- Giving away a prize
- Hosting a master class
- Offering a set menu (e.g. 2 course meal for £10)
- Putting on an event including live music or wine tasting
The BID will be using its own online platforms along with Visit Southport channels and local media to publicise the offers.
The week will be advertised across local digital publications and in local papers. There is no additional cost for participating to you as the business owner. Each offer receives a listing on our dedicated website southportrestaurantweek.co.uk
“The Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to showcase the quality and variety of the town centre’s food sector in what is traditionally a quiet month. We hope it is a win-win for both the venue and the customer and we’ll be looking to build on the success by hosting future Restaurant Weeks.”
