Police and emergency services have rushed to Abbey Gardens in Birkdale Village this morning after concerns for the welfare of an elderly woman in a house.
Emergency services including ambulance staff and trained officers broke into the property in Abbey Gardens this morning after neighbours raised the alarm following concerns for safety.
When officers entered the building they found an elderly woman dead at the scene.
OTS News understands there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the woman’s death and the coroner has since been notified.
