A Southport paedophile will face sentencing next week.
Jamie Martin, a 34-year-old Eastbank Street man, was due to be sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court earlier this week for amassing a huge and sickening child porn collection.
Martin has previously admitted three counts of downloading and one count of possessing indecent images of children.
He also pleaded guilty to one count of possessing a prohibited image of a child and one count of possessing extreme pornography.
Nardeen Nemat, prosecuting, said the indecent images of children included 22 Category A images – the most serious category, involving child rape – of which nine were videos.
He was due to be sentenced earlier this week and could face jail time but claimed he was unable to find any legal representation, forcing the sentencing to be put back until August 25th
