Officers was last night deployed on ASB Patrol in the Town Centre (Wedsnesday 14 February 2018).
A spokesperson for Southport police said: “We have been patrolling Hotspots, working with businesses to resolve the issue.
“All was quiet on Eastbank Street, however this is not always the case as we continue to get reports of young people congregating.”
