Southport MP attends loneliness leaflet campaign launch.

Damien said: “This weekend, I attended the launch of the loneliness leaflet campaign at Southport Hospital with the Director of Nursing and Sefton Older Person’s Forum.

A study by The Co-op and the British Red Cross reveals over 9 million people in the UK across all adult ages – more than the population of London – are either always or often lonely. With an older than average population, it is important that we promote mental wellbeing.
