Mysterious masons in Southport have helped to raise a staggering £35,000 to help a Liverpool blind school.
The money has been donated by West Lancashire Freemasons which is made up of members from parts of Lancashire and all of Sefton.
The cash boost will enable St Vincent’s School for the Blind and Partially Sighted to implement a new teaching method to improve pupils’ prospects of finding employment.
St Vincent’s receives pupils both residential and non-residential from all over Merseyside and Lancashire.
Head Teacher John Patterson, thanked the Freemasons for such a ‘huge gift’.
