Southport lifeboat tasked to yacht on River Ribble

Southport ILB tasked at 2.48pm to yacht with engine difficulties and aground in the River Ribble near Warton, 11 Septemeber 2108.

The ILB arrived with the vessel and took it under tow to Seafield Road where it was moored up and the sole male on board was transferred to Lytham RNLI land rover.

The ILB returned to Southport and was washed off and ready for service again at 7:15pm.
