Southport Lifeboat rescue pregnant woman drifting out to sea in dingey

CALL OUT – 27/6/19 – 19:31pm

As our crew were preparing for weekly training, Southport Lifeboat and Southport ILB were tasked to locate and recover a casualty on an inflatable who had drifted approximately 1km offshore at Ainsdale.

Southport Lifeboat recovered the casualty where the crew provided casualty care. They were then transferred to the D-Class to be transported to the beach with the help of Southport Coastguard.
