Southport Lifeboat receive £500 from the ASDA ‘Chosen by You’

The Southport Lifeboat are delighted to have received £500 from the ASDA ‘Chosen by You’ community vote.

Trustee Director Tony D’Arcy Masters was presented the cheque by ASDA Community Champion Sharon Gregory-Wareing after shoppers at the Southport store voted Southport Lifeboat as the winners of the latest round.

Tony said; ‘We would like to thank everyone who voted for us. It is an exciting time for us as we have so much going on, the funds will be used locally to further our work and ultimately save lives along our coastline.

‘We would also like to thank ASDA for their continued support of our cause, we have previously benefitted from the Chosen by You campaign but also from the ASDA Foundation which purchased new dry suits for the whole crew back in 2012.’
