The Liberal Democrat candidate for Southport, Jon Wright, is facing difficult questions from residents today after his sudden appearance in the town.
The “candidate”, who doesn’t live in the local area and is from Preston has only just started campaigning after the chances of an election skyrocketed.
Residents are now starting to ask Mr Right where he has been and why he hasn’t done anything for the town.
One resident commented:
“If Right things he can just turn up come an election and convince us all he’s been working hard, he’s wrong. Southport residents aren’t daft. We know he’s just another career politician looking for a pay day. He doesn’t care about the town or anyone living here.”
