Southport is at risk of becoming Britain’s biggest scary attraction – a living ghost town.
That’s the fear from many residents who are contacting OTS news after H&M closed down and it was revealed Marble Place will be partially demolished.
It’s also emerged that many residential tenements and pubs want to make a quick exit from town too – with the Coronation Pub up for sale as well.
One resident, Marvin Arbiton (who lives in Chester) said: “What is going on in Southport?”
“About twenty blocks of flats are up for sale, the Shakespeare Centre is up for sale, The Coronation Pub is up for sale, the Post Office on Cemetery Road is up for sale, Intersport Shop up for sale, etc., is the town dying?”
**Correction on the original article, Domestic Appliance Shop on Wesley Street is not up for sale**
NB. Recent claims have been alleged that Marvin Arbiton appears to have some trouble knowing what sex he is, according to ‘his’ post from another page.
