Southport golfers walk nearly 60,000 steps for Macmillan
On Friday 22 June four guys played 72 holes of golf at Royal Birkdale golf club they walked nearly 60,000 steps, 42 kilometres and they had 16 birdies and 1 Eagle.
They have raised over 6k for Macmillan. It’s such a fantastic cause and a charity which is very close to all of them.
Emma Robertshaw said: “We are all very proud of them and thought it was some great news to share with the Southport community.”
“They are now 3rd in the country to raise the most money for Macmillan this year.”
