Southport girl, 6, cuts ribbon at new Home Bargains store

A Home Bargains super-fan from Southport has opened the chain’s new Warrington store.

Jessica Howard, 6, who attends Larkfield Primary, was invited to open the new store with her brother, 8-year-old George on Saturday.

The pair were invited by the TJ Morris-owned chain after hearing of Jessica’s devotion to Home Bargains.

Jessica’s family told OTS News that she: “is Home Bargains number one fan. She loves it, and her absolute favourite thing to do in the world is visit Home Bargains. She loves everything they sell. And if she’s feeling down then Home Bargains will always cheer her up.”

Jessica said: “Opening the shop was THE BEST DAY EVER! I got to cut the ribbon and be the very first person in the shop. I got to lead everyone else in, and it was a dream come true!

“Thank you to everyone at Home Bargains for letting me do it. Especially to Becki, Krystine, Matthew, Chris, Charlie, Danielle and all of the staff at HB HQ and Home Bargains Warrington”

The Warrington team at Home Bargains replied: “It was a pleasure to spend time with Jessica and her family, who are true Home Bargains superfans. We like members of our local community to open our stores as everything we do is about trying to delight our customers with top brands at bottom prices.

“We hope she enjoyed opening day as much as we did!”
