NHS Southport and Formby Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) invites members of the public to attend its next governing body meeting on Wednesday 7 November.
The meeting will be a chance for people to learn more about the performance of health services in the area as well as hear about future plans and priorities from local commissioners, doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals. Dr Rob Caudwell, local GP and chair of NHS Southport and Formby CCG, said, “We encourage community members to attend our November meeting to stay up to date with the work we’re doing in the area. “It is a priority of every CCG to make sure that the public are involved in the decisions we make, one way is for people to come to these meetings and understand commissioning across Southport and Formby.” The governing body meeting takes place at the Family Life Centre, Ash Street, Southport at 1pm. Attendees may also be able to ask questions before the meeting formally starts. All governing body agendas and papers are available from the CCG’s website in advance of each meeting.
