Southport Foodbank has created an Amazon Wishlist, with key items they need to support struggling families.
The Wishlist contains items which could add significant cost to the weekly shop of a struggling family, and are appealing for anyone who may be able to buy an item or two from the list to donate to the Foodbank.
Southport Foodbank said: “We are constantly trying to look at the best way to support the household budgets of our clients, minimising the chance that people fall back into a Foodbank crisis.
“We have created an Amazon wishlist with some of the items which our clients tell us blow a big hole in their weekly finances, and we feel we can do something for the many people just about hanging on in there! We do this through our Food Pantry, Village Food Hub, Community Market and Next Steps project.
“If you can help in any way, here is the link.
“As ever, if you or someone you know need our services – do not feel worried about coming forward.”
