It’s reported that food bank volunteers have seen a sharp rise in the demand for hygiene and toiletry products, which are often unfairly priced in supermarkets.
The cost of living crisis has exposed more food bank users experiencing an increase in hygiene poverty.
As the cost of living soared and inflation reached its highest point for 40 years, more people are being forced into turning to food banks across Southport for help.
