Southport have won a Football Conference Community Trust Award this morning at the Conference AGM held at Celtic Manor.
The £5,000 award funded by the Premier League and the PFA was for the Best Community Project focusing on Older People.
Southport FC with Mersey Care run a weekly `Thanks for the Memories` programme at the Merseyrail Community Stadium for people referred by Mersey Care in the Southport area.
