A Southport dental nurse is leading the way in helping combat childhood tooth decay.

Jennifer Stead, a familiar and friendly face among many parents in the town, has recently launched The Tiny Tooth fairy Company to help combat poor oral hygiene and dental disasters among youngsters in Southport.

Speaking to OTS News Jennifer said: “Over the years I have seen many children deal with their fears of coming to the dentist.

“I see children on a daily basis with tooth decay, being referred for hospital treatments and with poor oral hygiene.

“As part of my role in practice it’s my job to make visiting the dentist an enjoyable experience for children and adults too.

“I’m hoping to promote oral health care making it not only educational but fun.

“I often receive messages from patients, friends and also strangers asking for advice regarding their teeth.

“I love being able to help and that’s my reason for setting up this new venture.

“Look out for my website that’s coming soon with lots of information and tips for both children and adults.

“Feel free to email or message me if you have any questions. For more visit the Tiny Tooth Fairy on Facebook or email Jenny via jenny@thetinytoothfairy.com
