Southport businesswoman closes shop in fear for her life.

A Southport businesswoman says she has had to flee her current premesis as the area is unsafe.

Due to an unspecified incident the owner of Barley and Twist in Leicester Street in Southport town centre says she can no longer continue trading at the site.

She claims that her life could be in danger due to a conflict which means she can’t open the shop, which is famous for upholstery and vintage home items.

The quirky boutique will now lie empty and Existing customers will be contacted in the next few days.
