Southport and Birkdale Sports Club appoint Director of Hockey
Southport Hockey Club are pleased to announce that Connor Jameson is rejoining the club as Director of Hockey and player coach of the Mens 1st XI after his 6 year stint away from the club.
Since leaving Southport HC in 2012, Connor has gone on to gain National League playing experience with Sheffield HC, 2. Bundesliga with DTV Hannover and Sydney Premier with University New South Wales.
Over the next 5 years the club will look to develop partnerships with local schools and colleges in a bid to strengthen the junior section. Meanwhile bringing a enjoyable performance culture to the senior teams to help push back into the North Leagues.
