Southport Bijou Cinema celebrates its first anniversary as it prepares to show some Halloween films.
The terrifying The Thing features Kurt Russell and there are some nasty creatures in Aliens. On Sunday evening there’s a special showing of the BBC version of The Woman in Black. Train to Busan has a zombie outbreak on it! The amazing Hammer Films version of Dracula with Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing. Anthony Hopkins terrorises us with Silence of the Lambs.
Nunkie Theatre are giving a live performance of H.P. Lovecraft stories. Followed by the terrifying In the Mouth of Madness. Children can join in with Scoob and Nightmare Before Christmas. The season ends on 31 October with The Shining.
