Southport BID say NO to Christmas Market and Ice Rink  Following the two previous disastrous Southport Christmas markets and last years popular ice rink  the BID has announced that they will no longer run either. On a more positive note Southport’s Christmas Lights Switch On will take place on Lord Street on Saturday 19th November. The Southport BID is hosting a switch on with live music, all hosted by out of town radio station Smooth Radio FM despite Southport having three stations, Mighty Radio, Coast Radio, Sandgrounder.
