Southport will become the World in one place as King’s Gardens host a festival with an international flavour.
The King’s Gardens International Celebration Day will take place 10 June, 11am-5pm.
This free, family event will be a great chance for local residents and visitors alike to enjoy a host of fun activities in the sunshine, including: international cuisine; samba drumming and drumming workshops with the Liver Drummers; storytelling; line dancing; dance workshops; craft stalls, ukulele performance and more.
Families at the event can also bring packed lunches and enjoy the usual array of fun activities King’s Park has to offer, whether walking your dog, enjoying a kick-around or taking in the beautiful flora and fauna.
Martin Sarbutts, Senior Parks Officer at Sefton Council said:
“The International Day at King’s Gardens is always great fun, whatever the weather. We have gone to great lengths to make sure it is affordable for families to visit, so that everyone in Sefton and beyond can come along and enjoy everything on offer without breaking the bank”
