Soldiers stand strong amid Armed Forces day cancellation

A group of steadfast soldiers will unite in solidarity outside Southport Town Hall in honour of Armed Forces Day.

While the traditional parade and displays have been cancelled this year a group of soldiers say they will not let Coronavirus win and plan to hold a socially distanced showing of solidarity among other veterans at Southport town Hall on Sunday June 28th from 2pm.

Any veterans who would like to join the display are encouraged to turn up on the day in suitable attire.
