Security staff at a town centre superstore were left flummoxed yesterday after being faced with an unusual issue
Staff at Asda Central 12 were called to deal with what was suspected as a medical emergency after shoppers reported a man collapsed at the entrance of the ASDA store just after 5pm this evening.
When staff responded to the emergency call they found a man comatose on a pile of compost
Staff assessed the male and found him to be in a stable condition and determined he had fallen asleep on the pile of soil outside the store rather than the situation being a medical emergency
Rather than move him on, staff chose to let the man continue his nap and stood down on the false alarm
