Sky internet outage reported across Southport

A number of homes in Southport have been left without internet tonight.

Sky Broadband customers in the PR8 & PR9 area were left without broadband and telephone lines this evening after a mystery outage just after 7.30pm.

The outage struck homes around the Meols Cop and Blowick areas, although some streets have reported the outage being selective, with some Sky customers saying they were spared from the issue.

A Sky spokesperson said “customers might not be able to get online or make or receive phone calls due to a problem in the PR8 & PR9 local area.

“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused.”
