Sinkhole causing Roe Lane delays

Temporary four way traffic lights have been set up causing long delays on Roe Lane.

Contractors are attempting to to fix a sink hole which has been growing bigger and bigger for a fortnight.

Originally cars were diverted around the hole which opened up on the westbound lane but constant disruption has caused the sinkhole to grow so big, the carriageway has been closed off.

Contractors are now working desperately to remedy the issue but have warned of long delays down the busy stretch of Roe Lane for a number of days while the defect is repaired.
