Sink hole appears close to Birkdale village Southport, Wednesday 10 June 2015

Yet another sink hole has appeared on Liverpool Road close to the junction of St Peter’s Road.

In January the road was closed for a number of weeks due to sink hole in the same spot.

An engineer on site today said:

“United Utilities will carry out a dig tomorrow (Thursday 11 June) to decide who is liable for the sink hole, us or Sefton council.
