Sick woman says sainsbury’s gave her better medical care than Southport doctors
A southport woman has received better care from supermarket staff than the local NHS, it has been claimed.
The woman, who did no want to be named, passed out at a local Sainsbury’s store recently and was given immediate first aid and even had her shopping refunded by staff.
However the ailment which caused her to faint has plagued her for years despite doctors in Southport ignoring her.
When she approached her MP, he also ignored her.
The woman’s friend told OTS News: “A lady who has been under the NHS care for an ailment that she believes has not been diagnosed properly which now keeps her virtually housebound relying every day on medical equipment, On the occasions she does leave her home it has to be in close vicinity of a toilet.
On this occasion, she visited her local Sainsbury’s but she started to feel sick and went dizzy, a lady from the cafe immediately put a call out for a first aider, in fact 3 came and helped her in a wheelchair to the disabled toilet whilst vomiting, they cared for her while the ambulance was on its way.
“Nice gesture of the supermarket to refund her of her purchase.
“The lady concerned told me she has seen over a period of 10 years over 70 consultants, surgeon’s doctors, and health workers over her stomach/bowel problems which she believes has been contributed by a major abdominal operation, prior to this she was in perfect health.
Even her Local MP, to his amazement over a period of 3 years has not had a response to vital questions from the NHS.”
