Shots Fired at house in Shore Road Ainsdale

Merseyside Police can confirm that shots were fired at an address in Ainsdale on Sunday, 22 February. Officers were called to Shore Road at approximately 11pm to reports of a shot being fired at a house.

No-one suffered any injuries during the incident.

A downstairs window was damaged, consistent with the use of a shotgun, in what police believe to be a targeted attack.

A full investigation into the incident is underway.
