Shopping park bosses fear for future in leaked emails

Bosses at Central 12 retail park have expressed ‘very serious concerns’ about the centre’s survival once a controversial out-of-town Sainsbury’s opens.

Correspondence has been leaked from Central 12 bosses in which the centre’s owners say they are concerned for its future and, in particular, stress the need for free parking to be introduced.

There are now fears Central 12 could end up as an‘industrial estate’ if measures, such as free parking for shoppers, aren’t implemented to secure its viability
