Shoppers furious at Morrisons 3 hour parking rule

Angry shoppers at Morrisons have hit out at the supermarkets three hour parking rule after tourists filled it at the weekend.

Visitors to the Food And Drink Festival parked in the supermarket car park meaning regular shoppers were being turned away on entry.

One driver John Atkinson said he was furious with the supermarket for their policy.

“I could not find One single parking space within the whole of Morrisons car park as most of the spaces were taken up by the people attending the Food & Drink Festival at Victoria Park.”

“And this is not the first time this has happened for me. 3 hours free parking at Morrisons is absolutely ridiculous for the store’s location.”

“Not only are they right by the fairground and swimming baths but also for the town centre for shoppers to park up for free-leaving actual customers like myself who simply want to park in the store’s car park and shop in store.“

“So many people take advantage of this free parking and it frustrates me so much now that i am now taking my business elsewhere and will now be doing all my shopping with Tesco. Morrisons really need to review and sort out their car park situation.”
