Shoppers conned out of cash at dodgy ATM

Tesco customers in Kew are being ripped off by a dodgy card machine.

The fault has been reported but no out of order sign has been placed on the machine outside the superstore leaving many customers temporarily cashless.

The machine debits the money from an account but does not dispense it.

The customer said “Kew Tesco cash machine is ripping people off to today the first one on the left has been going to give people there money and then shutting down but thrn works for the next person. After this happening to me I went into complain I was yold it had been happening all day.

I complained by adding that it should have been switched off till thr problem was sorted or at least an out of order sign placed on. They told me to call my bank.

I’m now stuck in Tesco carpark as i needed that money for petrol and I’m waiting for it yo be put back in my account. Please advise people that the same cash machine has done it to two more people in the last 30min that ive been stuck here and tesco still haven’t put an out of order sign on it.”
