Safety conscious residents in Southport today said ALDI bosses should be ashamed of themselves for selling Petrol chainsaws during the Coronavirus crisis
Despite the Petrol powered chainsaws being widely available from a number of DIY outlets, some residents say they were shocked to see Aldi in Southport selling them.
OTS reader Dave Black said they should show more common sense when selling dangerous items that could hospitalise someone when the NHS is already overstretched
Dave said “ALDI are selling petrol chainsaws and do you know how many people have accidents with these every year and end up in hospital?
“I did complain that they shouldn’t be selling them now but the manager said there was nothing he could do.
“Where is the common sense?”
