Shop sign gaffe leaves staff red faced

Geographically challenged staff at Beales Southport have been left red faced after putting up signs for Bournemouth in their shop windows.

Huge signs advertising Beales Bournemouth have been put in the ground floor window of the Lord Street shop advertising ‘Bournemouth’s greatest summer sale’ in the style of the Greatest Showman.

One shopper sarcastically remarked “they can’t afford to be advertising Liverpool never mind Bournemouth it’s already struggling. They really should focus on trying to promote their own store.”
